Breakfast Bran Muffins

You could definitely almost kid yourself that this one is healthy. It contains alotta good stuff like seeds, high fiber cereal, dried fruit and slow release oats. Just try to erase the brown sugar ok? These are best eaten warm and fresh. 

I decided to prep the dry ingredients in a jar first before work, so all I needed to do was add the wet ingredients. I like the idea of making this dry mix up in the jar and marking out what a portion is on the side, so when you want another batch there is no weighing... but then again maybe that really is making a mountain out of a mole hill.

I loved how the top layer was sweet and moist - not crunchy and dry like I expected. And the sunflower seeds really came through with a crunch.
